Malik Agar, Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, on Saturday expressed the Sudanese government’s appreciation for the significant efforts and valuable contributions made by humanitarian organizations in delivering humanitarian aid during the current war in Sudan .

Speaking at the “Day of Loyalty” celebration in Port Sudan, as organized by the Sudanese Popular Initiative to express gratitude to voluntary organizations and national initiatives, Agar emphasized the government commitment to strengthening relations with these organizations to assist them in fulfilling their missions in accordance with laws and charters that respect Sudan’s sovereignty and political independence.

Agar stressed that the Berlin Conference, scheduled to be held in Germany this month, goes against the wishes and aspirations of the Sudanese people, noting that Sudanese people themselves determine their own problems and solutions.
