Saudi writer and media figure, Dr. Fahd Al-Arabi Al-Harthi, head of the Aspar Center for Studies, Research, and Media, and chairman of the board of Aspar Company for Training and Administrative Development, stated that his country is going to Sudan “to build and develop. Destruction, spreading chaos, and destabilizing are not in our nature.”

In a tweet on his X platform, published on Tuesday, Al-Harthi added that the establishment of the Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council “is a declaration of the transition of relations between the two countries to a more solid and effective stage, based on initiatives, projects, and a promising future.” He explained that the council was established “to be an institutional platform that brings together relevant entities in both countries within clear objectives.”

He continued, “We are going to Sudan to contribute to reconstruction, restore the economy, support development, and empower the Sudanese people to overcome their ordeal.”

Dr. Al-Harthi explained that Saudi Arabia “does not view Sudan as a crisis arena, but rather as a dear Arab country that possesses the wealth, resources, and location that qualify it for advancement and prosperity.
Saudi Arabia, in its policies and positions, carries a consistent message that the security of its neighbors is its own security, and that their prosperity is an extension of its own prosperity,” stressing that his country “does not invest in crises, but rather in people, peace, and development.”
