Sudanese PM Arrives in Khartoum and Addresses a Mass Rally in Bahri

The Prime Minister, Dr. Kamel Al-Tayeb Idris, arrived in Khartoum this morning (Sunday), accompanied by a number of ministers, marking the resumption of the activities of the federal government, the “Government of Hope,” from the capital, Khartoum. He was received at the entrance to Khartoum Bahri city by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, along with a number of ministers, state officials, and a large crowd of Bahri residents.
The Sudan News Agency reported that Prime Minister Dr. Kamel Idris announced, while addressing a mass rally at Al-Kadro Square north of Bahri, the return of the Government of Hope in all its institutions to Khartoum to resume its activities starting today.
The Prime Minister saluted the masses of Khartoum State for their patience, struggle, and patriotism despite the conditions the country is going through, heralding the imminent achievement of complete victory. He also pledged to provide more services in the fields of health and education, improve electricity, water, and sanitation services, and enhance citizens’ livelihoods and security, in addition to working to support the return of universities and their rehabilitation.
