The Sudanese Bank of Khartoum has announced the launch of “IBOK,” an online banking service designed specifically for individual customers.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the bank explained that this move aims to expand the scope of digital banking services and provide customers with more flexible and convenient options.

The bank emphasized that the new service allows customers to access their accounts and conduct daily financial transactions directly via web browsers on computers and tablets—anytime, anywhere—without being restricted to mobile phones or needing to visit bank branches.

The bank noted that the IBOK service operates under the same daily financial limits established for the “Bankak” mobile application, enabling customers to transfer funds and manage their finances within their usual limits. Additionally, the service features a user interface that offers a wider screen view and a comprehensive, organized, and precise overview of account statements and transaction details.

The Bank of Khartoum affirmed its commitment to applying the highest standards of security and advanced banking protection to ensure the confidentiality and safety of all transactions conducted via the new platform.

The bank invited customers to start using the service by registering directly through its official website (bankofkhartoum.com). It also highlighted that customers can contact the call center at 1913 or reach out via WhatsApp at +249187040600 for inquiries and technical support.
