Agricultural Bank Launches “Al-Ziraai Mobile” Application

The Agricultural Bank of Sudan has announced the launch of interbank transfer services through its new mobile banking application (Al-Ziraai Mobile).

The bank’s General Manager, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hassan Mahmoud, stated in a press release on Sunday that the launch of Al-Ziraai Mobile comes within the framework of enhancing financial inclusion.

Mahmoud revealed the introduction of the Bank-to-Bank Account Number (B.B.A.N) transfer service via the Electronic Banking Services (E.B.S) network platform, explaining that this service enables customers to transfer funds from their accounts at the Agricultural Bank to other banks — and vice versa.

He pointed out that the Agricultural Bank enjoys a wide branch network compared to other banks, adding that it has taken upon itself the mission of revitalizing the agricultural sector in Sudan through modernizing agricultural systems to ensure increased production and productivity.

He affirmed that this step reflects the bank’s commitment to developing banking infrastructure and providing advanced, easy, and secure financial solutions that stimulate the local economy by facilitating financial transactions.

Mahmoud also announced that a new package of modern payment services for the bank’s clients will be launched soon.
