Sudanhorizon news website has obtained the key demands included in the complaints filed by Sudan against Ethiopia with both the UN Security Council and the African Union Peace and Security Council, Friday.
Sudan has formally requested that each council issues an explicit and clear condemnation of the attacks launched against it from Ethiopian territory. In its complaints, the Sudanese government urged both the UN Security Council and the African Union Peace and Security Council to fully exercise their responsibilities under their respective charters, and to take the necessary, urgent, and decisive measures to ensure Ethiopia’s compliance with the UN Charter and the African Union’s constitutive instruments, as well as its adherence to international law.
The Sudanese government emphasized the necessity of upholding Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and called for an end to Ethiopian transgressions—which constitute blatant and recurring acts of aggression that have been steadily escalating. Sudan characterized these actions as a grave threat to its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its people, while also demanding that steps be taken to prevent any recurrence and to hold those responsible accountable.
According to information obtained, the complaint includes precise and compelling data regarding the assaults and attacks launched from within Ethiopia national territories. It incorporates detailed tables documenting the number of attacks, the types of drones employed, and the losses incurred by the Sudan from these acts of aggression.
According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation late Sunday, the Sudanese government attached to its complaint all relevant documentation and evidence confirming that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has been using Ethiopian territory to launch suicide drones—equipped with missiles—to target civilian objects and vital infrastructure.
The Government of Sudan asserted that the use of Ethiopian territory to target Sudanese territory constitutes a hostile act, rendering Ethiopia accountable under international law for violating Article 4(2) of the United Nations Charter.
Sudan has demanded that the Ethiopian government cease these hostile acts and urged the international community to fulfill its role in holding the “terrorist militia” accountable and applying international law to the Ethiopian government. The news website “Al-Muhaqqiq” has obtained the key demands included in the complaints filed by Sudan against Ethiopia with both the UN Security Council and the African Union Peace and Security Council—submissions that were delivered last Friday.
Sudan has formally requested that both bodies—each acting independently—issue an explicit and clear condemnation of the attacks launched against it from Ethiopian territory.

According to information obtained, the complaint includes precise and compelling data regarding the assaults and attacks launched from within Ethiopia. It incorporates detailed tables documenting the number of attacks, the types of drones employed, and the losses incurred by the Sudan as result of these acts of aggression.

Sudan has demanded that the Ethiopian government cease these hostile acts and has urged the international community to fulfill its role in holding the “terrorist militias” accountable and applying international law in these Ethiopian violations.
It is worth noting that Sudan had previously submitted a similar complaint against the Ethiopian government to the African Union Peace and Security Council last May; however, the Council has yet to reach a decision on that matter.
