Musa Hilal Urges his Tribemen to Boycott the Dagalo Family’s Destructive Projects

Sheikh Musa Hilal, head of the Sudanese Revolutionary Awakening Council, issued an urgent appeal to the Mahamid tribesmen, both at home and abroad, urging them to distance themselves from any destructive projects or political and military agendas led by the Dagalo family.
In a statement released on Saturday, Hilal emphasized that the Mahamid are not party to any agenda that threatens Sudan’s unity or social fabric, and that any individual stances do not represent the tribe as a whole.
He called on all Mahamid members fighting alongside the militias to reconsider their positions and immediately withdraw from the battlefields to preserve lives, prevent further bloodshed, and avoid further suffering and destruction.
He reiterated the Mahamid’s unwavering support for the state and its national institutions, and their commitment to working for the security and stability of the country, clarifying that the Mahamid will not be used as pawns in any project detrimental to the nation’s interests.
Hilal warned the youth of the Mahamid tribe against being misled by promises and slogans that might lead them into conflicts that serve neither their interests nor those of their families, but rather harm the history and social standing of the Mahamid. He appealed to all those who had been deceived to return to the fold of the nation.

He also appealed to all members of the Mahamid tribe in neighboring countries who were misled by the Dagalo family during the visits of Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti) to Niger, Chad, and eastern Libya, and who were subsequently drawn into the Sudanese war, to leave Sudanese territory immediately and return to their countries, abiding by their laws and regulations.
Musa Hilal further appealed to tribal leaders in Darfur and Kordofan to reconsider their support for the militia, return to the embrace of the nation, and not respond to any mobilization campaigns aimed at fighting the Sudanese army and the Sudanese people.
