The Awakening Council and Minawi Movement Commit to Liberating the Entire Country

The Sudanese Revolutionary Awakening Council and the Sudan Liberation Army (SLA) – Minawi faction – affirmed their commitment to continuing the liberation of the remaining parts of Sudan and cleansing every inch of the homeland from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, its supporters, backers, and mercenaries.
This came during a meeting held in Khartoum on Wednesday between the head of the Sudanese Revolutionary Awakening Council, Sheikh Musa Hilal, the commander-in-chief of the SLA, Jumaa Muhammad Haqqar, and his deputy, Jaber Ishaq Ali Ambada, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
The leaders offered prayers for the souls of all the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, most recently the martyrs of North Kordofan: Brigadier General Abdul Aziz Ismail Abkar and General Abdullah Shawa. They also congratulated the SLA on the liberation and recapture of several important and strategic cities and areas in North Kordofan State.
The meeting, according to SUNA, emphasized the need to strengthen close coordination and mutual understanding between the Council and the Movement on various political, military, and social issues, in a way that serves the country’s best interests and supports efforts to achieve security, stability, and peace.
The meeting also discussed ways to promote a culture of social peace among all components of the Sudanese people, reject all forms of violence, combat hate speech, racism, regionalism, and tribalism, and work to consolidate the values of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and national unity.
The twp sides stressed the importance of national unity, reconciliation, strengthening the internal front, and supporting the Armed Forces, Joint Forces, and Support Forces to preserve Sudan’s unity and sovereignty and achieve security, stability, and peace.
