Al-Burhan Affirms Sudan’s Solidarity with Qatar and Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held two phone calls on Sunday with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and with the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to a press statement issued by the media office of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the Council’s Chairman inquired about the situation in Qatar and Saudi Arabia following what was described as a blatant Iranian attack on the territories of the two countries.

Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s support and solidarity with Qatar and Saudi Arabia and their brotherly peoples in the face of the Iranian attacks that targeted the security and stability of both nations, stressing their right to respond to any aggression directed against them.
