10 Killed and Others Wounded in an RSF Attack at Hospital

The Sudanese Doctors Network has announced that three people were killed and seven others, including medical staff, were wounded in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces militia on Sunday evening in which  a drone targeted Al-Mazmum Hospital, Sinnar State.

In a statement, the network affirmed that targeting health facilities constitutes a flagrant violation of international laws that prohibit attacks against medical facilities and healthcare workers. It said these attacks s exacerbate the suffering of civilians and deprive them access to essential medical services.

The Sudanese Doctors Network held the militia leadership fully responsible for targeting Al-Mazmum Hospital, calling on the international community to play an active role in preventing all forms of attacks on health facilities, ensuring the protection of medical personnel and patients, and holding those responsible for these crimes accountable.
