Sudan Offers Condolences to Libyan Leadership on the Chief of Staff’s Plane Crash

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has sent two telegrams of condolence on Wednesday to both the Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Dr. Mohamed al-Manfi, and the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, expressing his condolences on the death of the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Mohamed al-Haddad, and his companions, following the tragic plane crash that occurred as they were returning from an overseas visit.

According to a press release issued by the Transitional Sovereign Council’s media office, Al-Burhan expressed the condolences of the Sudanese government and people, and his sympathy to the Libyan people for this profound loss.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Libyan people
