High Tec. Committee: Destruction of The Capital Needs Huge Funds

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief and member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Vice Admiral Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, chaired the second meeting of the High Committee for Creating the Appropriate Environment for the Return of Citizens to Khartoum State, in the presence of a number of federal ministers and undersecretaries, and the governors of Khartoum, Gezira and River Nile States.
The member of the Sovereignty Council pointed to the large scale of destruction that has affected the infrastructure and service projects in central Khartoum, which requires huge sums of money, making it necessary for the government to assess its available capabilities in order to provide essential services to citizens.
The meeting addressed the work of the service committees in the fields of electricity, water and health, and the progress achieved in those sectors.
It also listened to the plan of the Federal Ministry of Health regarding health services.
