The National Investment Authority: In the Process of Electronic Single Window

The Secretary-General of the National Investment Authority, Nour Al-Daem Babiker, stressed the need for using technology in investment transactions.
During his visit to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Transformation , Tuesday), he explained that the world is currently witnessing pivotal moments in which the foundations of business are being redefined in light of radical transformations in geopolitics, investment, global trade, technology, supply chains, and energy. He indicated that all these factors intersect to reshape the way countries think and how they compete in investment.
Nour Al-Daem pointed out that the coming period will witness the electronic operation of the single window after the completion of linking all entities related to investment work electronically.
He emphasized that establishing a website for the agency is a crucial step that reflects Sudan’s stature and vast resources as a global economic hub for Africa and the world at large. This serves as an incubator for future decision-making through the investment gateway provided by the National Investment Authority.
He stated, “There is a significant challenge not only in adapting to these transformations but also in leading them in a rapidly changing world.” He added, “Sudan is not waiting for the future but building it in cooperation with partners. The war has been a catalyst for improvement following the recovery Sudan is witnessing.” He further noted the importance of engaging with African peoples and the diaspora.

He called for the creation of flexible partnerships built on technology and integrated global value chains. This principle represents the core of investment policies and transformations, in line with the 2026 plan developed by the National Investment Authority. He stressed that Sudan is now reviving the concept of being the world’s breadbasket, a prime investment destination for lands that remain largely untapped and offer diverse opportunities, despite the devastation wrought by the war.
