Al-Dabailo Reviews Efforts to Develop a Fifty-Year Vision for Sudan’s Development

Professor Suleiman Mohamed Al-Dabailo, Chairman of the Peace Commission, met on Sunday, at the National Peace Commission headquarters in Khartoum, with a number of university professors and academics participating in the project to develop a future vision for Sudan. The meeting was also attended by Amjad Farid Al-Tayeb, Advisor to the Sovereign Council.
The academic delegation included Professor Ali Abdullah, Professor Abdel-Azim Al-Mahal, Dr. Malik Al-Mahdi, Dr. Othman Dafallah, and Dr. Mutawakkil Saeed, representing the working group tasked with preparing the country’s future vision.
The meeting discussed the efforts being made to develop a comprehensive strategic vision for Sudan spanning fifty years, based on scientific and methodological foundations, and contributing to building a stable and prosperous future for the country.
The attendees also reviewed a number of proposals and ideas related to formulating a national vision that responds to the challenges of the current phase and establishes a national political process grounded in the Sudanese reality and enjoying broad public acceptance.
The importance of continuing dialogue and consultation with various national and academic experts was emphasized, and it was agreed to hold more meetings in the coming period to complete the vision and ensure its comprehensiveness and integration.
