Prime Minister Inspects Sudan School Certificate Examination Processing for the 2026 Cohort

Prime Minister Kamil Idris on Tuesday inspected the progress of the Sudan School Certificate examination processing center for the 2026 cohort, accompanied by the Minister of National Education, Dr. Al-Tahami Al-Zein Hajar, and the Prime Minister’s Adviser, Nizar Abdullah Mohamed.

During the visit, the Prime Minister commended the dedication and hard work of the educational staff, praising their contribution to Sudan’s recovery efforts and the advancement of national development.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the challenges facing teachers, stating, “Teachers are our most valuable asset.”

Kamil Idris also praised the procedures and methodology being followed throughout the examination processing stages, noting that the professionalism and accuracy demonstrated by staff are key factors behind the credibility and recognition of the Sudan School Certificate both domestically and internationally.

He emphasized his full support for the continuation of these efforts until the final examination results are announced.

For his part, Minister Al-Tahami Al-Zein Hajar welcomed the Prime Minister’s visit, describing it as a morale boost for ministry personnel and a reflection of what he called the “Government of Hope’s” commitment to education in general and to the Sudan School Certificate examinations in particular.

The minister explained that processing operations are progressing smoothly and have entered the second phase, known as the coding stage. This will be followed by the marking phase and then the results tabulation process before the final results are officially announced.

The Prime Minister’s visit was warmly welcomed by teachers and education staff, who reaffirmed their support for the Government of Hope and the Sudanese Armed Forces, while pledging to continue working diligently to complete all remaining stages leading to the announcement of the Sudan School Certificate examination results.
