SSMO Integrates “Eisali” Payment Service with “Baladna” Platform

Khartoum – Sudanhorizon

The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO), in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, officially launched the integration of the Eisali electronic payment service with the Baladna platform in Khartoum on Sunday.

According to a press statement issued by the authority, the move is part of ongoing efforts to improve performance and simplify procedures for users by piloting the payment of standards certification fees through the integrated system. The initiative is intended to facilitate electronic payments, enhance transparency, accelerate transaction processing, and save time and effort for both citizens and institutions, in line with the government’s digital transformation strategy and broader programme to modernise public services.

Eisali is a unified electronic payment system launched by Sudan’s Ministry of Finance in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Communications to enable the digital collection of government service fees. The platform is designed to centralise government revenues and strengthen financial transparency.
