Khartoum Governor Launches Resumption of Evening Activities to Khartoum Green Square

Khartoum Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza has inaugurated the resumption of evening activities withing the Green Square area in Khartoum State following the completion of electricity installation and the lighting of squares and sports halls.
The inauguration was attended by a large number of youth of the “Green Khartoum” initiative, and is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to restablish a welcoming environment for residents.
During the inauguration, the governor explained that Green Square serves as a vital recreational space for families, especially during Ramadan and public holidays. He noted the state’s efforts to mobilize resources and engage active sectors and initiatives, and promised to complete the restoration of all services.
For his part, the acting executive director of Khartoum Locality commended the state’s efforts in preparing the environment and the work carried out on roads, public parks, markets, and water and electricity services. He emphasized that young people are the future leaders in the greening and beautification of the capital.
In the same context, the state’s director of partnerships explained that the work accomplished was made possible by effective partnerships, and promised to continue the work within the framework of social responsibility.
