Sudan Jumps 10 Points in FIFA’s Monthly Ranking

According to the October FIFA ranking, the Sudanese national football team has jumped 10 points globally and 4 points in Africa.
According to the ranking released on Friday, the Al-Jediane Hawks (Sudan’s national team) is now ranked 110th globally and 26th in Africa.
The Sudanese team is expected to climb another 10 points if they win against Tanzania in both legs of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers at the end of this month and the first week of November in Dar es Salaam and Nouakchott.
The Sudanese team drew with Ghana in an away match. It defeated them in Benghazi with two goals in the third and fourth rounds of Group F in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Morocco, which contributed to their rise in the rankings.
