Darfur Governor: RSF Militias Commit Genocide in Zamzam Camp

The Governor of Darfur Region, Minni Arko Minawi, has warned that the Zamzam IDPs camp was currently being attacked by the Rapid Support Forces militias who are committing genocide crimes among the civilians IDPs .

The governor has pointed out in a post in his Facebook account that “after the popular resistance in Zamzam camp for displaced persons repulsed the Al-Dagalo clan militias from the camp last night, the same militias have once more charged against the civilians in Zamzam IDPs camp for the second time in just 12 hours.”

He called on all persons capable of carrying gun to join the people in the camp area in defense of the displaced civilians population there against the “ the brutality of the terrorist Rapid Support Militia and protect the land and honor.”

“We renew our call to the international and regional community, and even the national media, to shed light on these tragedies and the genocide committed by the militia against the camp’s civilian population .” the governor added.
