Charity Clinics at the Sudanese Embassy in Tanzania

The Sudanese Embassy in Tanzania held charitable treatment clinics in cooperation with the Sudanese community, yesterday, on Friday, at the embassy headquarters in the Obanga suburb of Dar es Salaam.
The Sudanese Ambassador to Tanzania, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Abdul Hamid, said in a statement to the Sudanhorizon news website that the initiative was carried out in coordination with Al-Shifa Hospital in Dar es Salaam, which hosted a group of the most distinguished specialists from Sarvodia Hospital in New Delhi, in the fields of general surgery, kidney and urology, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Al-Shifa Hospital family for their cooperation with the Sudanese in light of these current circumstances, their support for the initiative and their readiness to receive all Sudanese in their hospital in Dar es Salaam and provide them with their treatment and medical services in particular.
For his part, Dr. Shawgar Bashar, head of the Sudanese community in Tanzania, said that this treatment initiative is one of the services supported by the community and is working to develop it to reduce the burden of treatment bills for all Sudanese residing in Tanzania, praising the good coordination with the diplomatic mission at the Sudanese Embassy in Dar es Salaam and praising all its employees. He also praised the initiative of the students of the University of Medical Sciences and their contribution to the success of the treatment day and their contribution with the medical team and helping patients communicate with doctors.
The Secretary of the Social Secretariat of the Sudanese community, Mr. Farah Osman, attributed the success of the treatment day to the good arrangement and coordination with the embassy, and said that all patients who arrived at the specialized clinics were able to meet their doctors, indicating that his secretariat held initial consultations with Al-Shifa Hospital in Dar es Salaam to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Sudanese community, under which medical and treatment services will be provided with an advanced package of services, and it will be announced upon completion of technical and administrative consultations with the Executive Office, assisted by some members of the community with expertise.
