Lieutenant General Jaber Chairs Meeting of the Civil-Military Integration Strategy Committee

Lieut.Gen. Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, member of the Sovereign Council, chaired a meeting monday at the Nimeiry Higher Military Academy for the committee planning and overseeing the civil-military integration strategy. The meeting aimed to unify the efforts of Sudanese state institutions to serve national security and the citizenry.

Al-Jilani Mohamed Al-Jilani, Director General of the Sea Ports Corporation, stated to the press following the meeting that the committee had agreed to designate the Sea Ports Corporation as the federal entity responsible for coordinating efforts between civil and military institutions. This decision was based on the corporation’s strategic location and the vital nature of its operations in supporting the national economy.

He emphasized that the committee was formed to harness all capabilities and resources within state institutions, thereby achieving maximum efficiency in resource management and the fulfillment of national priorities.

The committee is scheduled to resume its sessions, Tuesday, to discuss technical and research papers submitted by experts and relevant bodies. These discussions aim to produce practical recommendations and findings for submission to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council for approval and subsequent dissemination to all civil and military institutions across the country.
