Al-Merrikh Draws Against Al-Nasr of Libya and Al-Hilal Faces Al-Ahly Benghazi Tonight

Al-Hilal of Sudan completed its preparations to face Al-Ahly Benghazi this evening, on Sunday, at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in the first preliminary round of the African Champions League.

Al-Hilal of Sudan returned from a short preparatory camp in the Tunisian capital, during which it played 4 matches, achieving satisfactory results against Etoile du Sahel 0-0, Mostaqbal Gabes 0-2, Stade Tunisien 3-2, and Club Sportif Sfaxien 1-1.

Al-Merrikh of Sudan, the traditional rival of Al-Hilal, tied on Friday evening with its host Al-Nasr of Libya in the first leg of the first round of the African Champions League preliminary round.

The winner of the round will face the winner of the Moroccan Royal Army and Nigerian Remo Stars in the second preliminary round

Al-Merrikh is undergoing a preparatory match today with Al-Hilal of Libya in Benghazi before traveling to the South Sudanese capital, Juba, to play the second leg on August 24
