Sudanese Karate Player Takes Fourth Place

Sudanese karate player Ahmed Abdel Qader finished fourth after a tough match against an internationally ranked Turkish player at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, currently in in place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the slogan “One Nation.”
Abdel Qader performed well in the under-75 kg weight category. He began his campaign with a match against a Kuwaiti player, displaying impressive skill and tactics. However, his opponent’s superior physical fitness ultimately decided the match in his favor. In his second match, Abdel Qader defeated a Kenyan player after the latter withdrew due to injury.
Abdel Qader expressed his satisfaction with his performance, noting that his experience against internationally ranked players was invaluable and that he gained significant experience. He expressed his hope of winning a medal for Sudan in future competitions and affirmed his determination to continue working hard to achieve even better results in upcoming tournaments.
The competition was graced by the presence of Professor Mahmoud Al-Sir, Secretary General of the Sudanese Olympic Committee, expert Mohamed Saleh Wadaa, Head of the Technical Committee of the Olympic Committee, and Al-Moez Abbas, Head of the Delegation.
In the same competition, Fatima Youssef lost her match in the under-68 kg weight category to a Kenyan player.
Meanwhile, Wushu Kung Fu player Habib Mohamed, accompanied by coach Al-Taj Nouri, arrived in Riyadh to join the Sudanese delegation participating in the Games.
