First Voluntary Return Flights from Libya to Sudan Begin Next Friday

Tripoli – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, on Sunday announced that the first flights of the voluntary return program for Sudanese citizens will depart next Friday, in coordination with the relevant Libyan authorities and the Sudanese High Committee for Voluntary Return.
An embassy official told Sudanhorizon that the first flight will carry 166 returnees, with subsequent flights to follow. The source noted that the embassy authorities have handled all issues related to travel documents and administrative procedures in coordination with the Libyan side.
The embassy completed the registration process for Sudanese nationals wishing to return home from Libya, several weeks ago, in preparation for scheduling the planned air and land journeys within the program.
