The Popular Committee for the Support of the Armed Forces announced the dispatch of support convoys to all fighting fronts in Kordofan and Darfur, departing from River Nile State under the supervision and sponsorship of the state’s governor, Dr. Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel Majid.

During his meeting with a delegation from the Popular Committee for the Support of the Armed Forces (PCSA) on Monday, River Nile State Governor Mohamed El-Badawi Abdel Majid emphasized that supporting the armed forces in the battle for dignity is the duty of every Sudanese. He added that human, civilian, and in-kind support operations must continue until the armed forces achieve complete victory over the Rapid Support Forces militia and their affiliates, both domestically and abroad, and cleanse the country of the filth of rebellion.

A press release issued by the state media revealed that River Nile State has dispatched more than 100 convoys to operational areas and military zones across Sudan since the start of the war.

The governor announced that River Nile State will dispatch a convoy to North Kordofan under the auspices of Lieutenant General Shams El Din Kabashi, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and another convoy to Northern State.

Furthermore, Engineer Anwar Al-Siddiq Abdul Nabi, the General Supervisor and Founder of the Popular Committee to Support the Armed Forces, stated that the launch of support to Kordofan and Darfur from River Nile State comes in appreciation of its significant role in the Dignity War, its support for the war effort, and its assistance to the Sudanese state in its civilian capacity. The General Supervisor and Founder of the Popular Committee to Support the Armed Forces announced a comprehensive program to support the National Hope Government, headed by Dr. Kamil Idris, starting from River Nile State, pointing to the renaissance and development movement that the state has witnessed in the recent period in the service and development sectors.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel Rahman Abdel Moneim from the Federal Advisory Board of the Popular Authority for the Support of the Armed Forces, and Engineer Al-Jaali Abdel Qader, Chairman of the Authority in the Nile River Sector.
