A Notice to the Prime Minister,

By Dr. Abdel -Azim Awad
I went through that article more than once until I reached a point convincing me that this was a leak from the meeting of the Prime Minister with the parties to the Juba Agreement …
I even consulted colleagues and friends about the validity of what I read, and they assured me of the validity and the genuineness of the article that I thought was a making of the fools of the parasitic media …
I waited for one week to read a denial or rejection what has been published, or if there are any measures to be taken against the author of the article in line with the laws and regulations currently in force but nothing materialized…nothing! I expected that the irresponsible (official) who transferred the content of the meeting would reveal in ‘’full’’ to the journalist would be exposed and that he would also be subject to legal action, however nothing at all …nothing!
It is true in the norm of the journalistic profession, that it is not permissible to reveal the source of the information or the story, and what is meant here is the source that provides the journalist with the information that he uses in his news or articles and comments on the development of events, and the source in this case is the complementary half of the professional journalist, and it is known that a journalist without sources is, god forbade, a failed journalist…. But today we are facing a new type of source that revealed to the journalist full content of a very important and highly sensitive meeting in a country surrounded by security crises on each side, crisis that almost suffocates the country and strangles its soul, and the female journalist is publishing the story happy and merry about what she is imagining to be a scoop for which she deserves the prize of professional excellence!!
The irresponsible official is still going around pompously, not caring a dime, not being questioned or held accountable, by his superiors even though he is responsible, meaning that he is subject to accountability from his heads of his superiors.
I have heard the statement made by the prime minister in this regard when he appealed to the journalists to seek truth and accuracy in their writings which is a nice statement reflecting the spirit of Dr Kamil El Tayeb, but in such a case we would not expect stamen but rather invigoration of laws to handle such a serious phenomenon that menaces our national
And we have to bring to attention that victory in this battle of dignity which our troops are engaged in and which we have named the Dignity Battle, is not scored only by the barrel of the gun in the battle fields but equally is fought by unifying the internal front and by enforcing the laws and order and by accountability I would not say by enforcing the emergency laws that went out and did not shaw up again, but by ordinary laws, and perhaps this more appropriate and more important than holding accountable those who throw stones at the homeland from abroad in absentia, and we consider them from the enemies, notwithstanding that the greatest of dangers hails from our friends
And I remember here the wisdom attributed to Napoleon Bonapart: God watch my friends, I can handle my enemies
Have I made my point clear???
