Al-Burhan Inspects Military Production Facility in Qary

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited the military production facility in Qary on Saturday. The facility, part of the Defense Industries System, was inspected alongside Sovereignty Council member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, General Yasir Al-Atta, Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, and Director of the Defense Industries System, General Mirghani Idris.
During the visit, Al-Burhan reviewed the scale of destruction and sabotage caused by the Al-Daglo terrorist militia at the facility. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to rehabilitate and rebuild the site, emphasizing its importance as a vital development pillar for Sudan, according to a statement released by the Transitional Sovereignty Council’s media office.
Al-Burhan reiterated the state’s determination to continue its battle to eradicate the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, stating, “The loyal sons of Sudan are capable of rebuilding and restoring this strategic facility.”
He also praised the Defense Industries System employees for their ongoing efforts to restore the sector and enable it to resume its critical role in supporting Sudan’s national economy.
