An Important Message from Burhan to Trump

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, sent a message, Thursday, to U.S. President Donald Trump, expressing Sudan’s commitment to peace efforts sponsored by the United States.

In a post on the platform X (formerly Twitter), Burhan affirmed that the Government of Sudan is prepared to work in good faith with all parties to achieve a just and lasting peace—one that upholds Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the dignity of its people.
