Al-Nuhud Executive Director: Military Forces Advancing to Liberate West Kordofan

Executive Director of Al-Nuhud Locality in West Kordofan State, Musa Ali Ibrahim, confirmed that Sudanese Armed Forces units and other military formations are advancing toward the liberation of the state, noting that the liberation of Al-Nuhud city is drawing closer.

In an exclusive statement to Sudanhorizon, Ibrahim said that people displaced from Al-Nuhud Locality are currently staying in several cities across Sudan, with the majority located in El Obeid, North Kordofan State. He added that the state, through the Humanitarian Aid Commission, is making significant efforts to provide assistance to the displaced.

He expressed hope that the displaced would be able to return to their areas in the near future once conditions stabilize and their areas are liberated.
