Sudanes Foreign Minister Participates in Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New York

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohieddin Salem, participated, Tuesday, in the annual consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was chaired by Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Ali Nafti (Chair of the Ministerial Council for the current session) and attended by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Nabil Fahmy.
The meeting addressed the importance of Arab solidarity and the coordination of positions regarding the Palestinian cause and the situations in Sudan and the Gulf region, while emphasizing Red Sea security, freedom of international navigation, and respect for international law.
