Sudanese Philanthropist Pledges to Renovate Health Facilities in Khartoum

Sudanese philanthropist and Businessman, Hisham Al-Subat, announced his commitment to upgrading the pediatric ward at Ibrahim Malik Hospital, as well as renovating three floors of the “Istak” Public Health Laboratory and resolving the electricity problem by providing generators and solar power.
This came during a field visit on Saturday that included the “Stack” Public Health Laboratory, the National Blood Transfusion Services Administration, and Ibrahim Malik Hospital, as part of the Ministry of Health’s “Your Hand for Our Hospital” initiative. He was accompanied by the Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalil Muhammad Ibrahim, and a number of health officials.
Dr. Khalil emphasized the importance of involving the private sector in reconstruction and supporting the health sector, praising the role of entrepreneurs in enhancing health services and stressing that the initiative begins with the efforts of the nation’s citizens. He also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors, noting that a spirit of solidarity and integration is the way to achieve common goals in improving the health situation.
For his part, Hisham Al-Subat affirmed his commitment to supporting the health sector in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s vision and strategic plans, praising the Ministry’s efforts and medical staff, and expressing his appreciation for involving the private sector as a key partner in the reconstruction process and saving lives through sustainable health projects.
