Sudanese Academics Join Eritrean Counterparts to Strengthen Scientific Cooperation Between the Two Countries

A number of Sudanese university professors, including academics from the University of Khartoum, International University of Africa, and Bahri University, recently participated alongside their Eritrean counterparts in a series of academic evaluation activities, scientific committees, and examination supervision assignments as part of ongoing efforts to exchange expertise and enhance the quality of higher education in Eritrea.
A diplomatic source at the Sudanese Embassy in Asmara told Sudanhorizon that the prominent Sudanese participants included Professor Mustafa Idris Al-Bashir, Dr. Khalid Al-Amin Awad Mohamed, Dr. Asim Alaa El-Din Othman, Dr. Ziryab Imad El-Din Mahmoud, among other academics.
The source added that Sudanese scholars have continued to make distinguished academic contributions to Eritrea’s higher education institutions through their involvement in examination processes and academic assessment activities.
According to the source, these contributions reflect the deep scientific and cultural cooperation between Sudan and Eritrea and have been warmly welcomed by the Eritrean side, which holds Sudanese academic expertise in high regard.
