The “Al-Amal” (Hope) Committee for Free Voluntary Return has announced that arrangements have been completed to transport civil servants and their families from the Arab Republic of Egypt to Sudan so they may rejoin state institutions. This move implements the Cabinet’s decision requiring employees to return and resume work within 45 days.

Committee Chairman Mohamed Wadaa stated today—speaking from the bus departure point in the Faisal district of Cairo—that transporting these groups is a top priority for the committee during this period. He affirmed the “Al-Amal Government’s” commitment to providing the necessary funding for the return journeys, in collaboration with private sector contributions.

Wadaa revealed that significant progress has been made in transporting general education students, noting that only 1,700 students remain according to electronic registration records, while the transport of higher education students has been fully completed.

He emphasized the committee’s commitment to transporting wounded individuals who had traveled to Egypt for medical treatment, noting that comfortable seating has been allocated for those with special needs. He also pointed out that basic services have largely stabilized across several Sudanese states.

The committee chairman reiterated their full commitment to transporting all Sudanese nationals wishing to return voluntarily from Egypt to their homeland.
