Committee Headed by Minister of Justice to Prepare Land Study

The Cabinet, in its session on Thursday, chaired by Dr. Kamil Idris, has ordered the formation of a committee to conduct a detailed study on land plot ownership questions. The committee will be headed by the Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Darf.
This cabinet directive came after the meeting reviewed and confirmed the security of the country’s land records and emphasized the need to combat and decisively address illegal land-related activities.
Dr. Graham Abdel Qader, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, stated in a press statements following the session that the Cabinet has also discussed “the requirements of culture and media, cultural libraries, theaters, and book fairs.”

He added that the meeting heard briefings on the economic and social impacts of the US-Israeli-Iranian conflict on the country, as well as the situation regarding electricity and fuel.

The meeting also received a briefing on the Sudanese Higher Secondary SchoolCertificate examinations and vocational training exams, in addition to the arrangements and procedures for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
