The Central Bank of Sudan (CBS), through its technical arm, Electronic Banking Services (EBS), has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the telecommunications company “Sudani.” This initiative aligns with the Central Bank of Sudan’s efforts to develop and modernize the infrastructure for digital financial services, foster digital transformation within the banking sector, expand the reach of digital services, and improve accessibility for customers.
The agreement, signed at Sudani’s headquarters in the presence of representatives from both companies, aims to facilitate mobile top-ups and bill payments through modern electronic channels. This collaboration strengthens the integration between the telecommunications and financial services sectors, supporting the delivery of more convenient and efficient digital solutions for users.

The partnership enables Sudani subscribers to access top-up and bill payment services for both prepaid and postpaid accounts. Furthermore, it enhances the ability of banking and financial service customers to utilize these services via advanced digital platforms.
This step is part of a broader initiative to expand the use of electronic payment methods, develop digital financial services, increase transaction efficiency, and improve user experience—all of which support the ongoing journey toward digital transformation and financial inclusion in Sudan.
