Youth Body: Sudanese Dialogue Will Be the Only Way Out of the Crisis

A youth body reaffirmed the importance of Sudanese dialogue as a means of stopping the war and ending the current crisis in the country.

Ahmed Abdelbagi, a representative of the Youth Leadership Body in Jebel Awliya locality, said in a statement to the Dialogue Platform that Sudanese dialogue would be the only way to stop the war and bring Sudanese parties together at the negotiating table, without quotas or exclusion of any component or group.

Abdelbagi said the body had received a comprehensive briefing from members of the Community Track Committee of the Sudanese dialogue, which, he said, cleared up much of the confusion and misconceptions surrounding the dialogue.

“We met with the committee and learned that the dialogue is free from quotas, agendas, and external dictates that harm the country,” he said.

He also considered the dialogue an opportunity to bring together the largest possible number of political, community, and youth forces in a political process that is Sudanese-owned.
