Turkish Delegation Arrives in Sudan to Strengthen Health Cooperation

A Turkish delegation arrived at Port Sudan International Airport on Saturday as part of efforts to strengthen health cooperation between Sudan and the Republic of Türkiye, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the development of medical services.

During the delegation’s reception, Alaa Al-Tayeb Mudathir, Director-General of the International Health Department at the Federal Ministry of Health, affirmed the ministry’s commitment to expanding cooperation with the Turkish side. She noted that the visit represents an important step toward supporting the national health system, localizing medical treatment services, and facilitating the exchange of expertise.

The delegation is expected to hold a series of meetings and conduct field visits to a number of health institutions and hospitals to explore partnership opportunities and develop joint projects that serve the interests of citizens.
