Sudan: New Extension for Currency Replacement

The Supreme Committee for Currency Replacement has announced an extension of the currency replacement period starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, until Monday, January 6, 2025.

Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Aleisir, the government’s official spokesperson, stated that the extension aims to enable citizens in all targeted states to complete the replacement process smoothly and efficiently.

The committee urged citizens across all targeted states to cooperate during this period and expedite the currency replacement process within the specified timeframe.
