Ministry of Energy: No Fuel Crisis, Petroleum Products Available

Khartoum – Sudanhorizon
The Ministry of Energy has affirmed the availability of petroleum product supplies, revealing in a press statement on Sunday that there are sufficient fuel reserves and that supply operations are proceeding smoothly to service stations.
The Ministry indicated an increase in the quantities allocated to Khartoum State to meet citizens’ needs and support the return and reconstruction program. It explained that work is proceeding normally to secure the needs of various sectors and provide fuel to citizens, and that the congestion or temporary fluctuations in supply levels experienced at some service stations do not represent a general fuel crisis, but rather are related to distribution and transportation procedure and the reorganization of supplies according to the actual needs of different areas.
The Ministry affirmed its continued efforts, in coordination with companies operating in the oil sector, to ensure the smooth flow of petroleum products and enhance the stability of supplies, thus contributing to meeting the needs of vital sectors and citizens. It called on the media to exercise accuracy and disregard rumors and unreliable information that could cause anxiety or confusion, emphasizing that the Ministry is continuously monitoring the supply situation and working to address any unforeseen bottlenecks as they arise.

The ministry reiterated its commitment to continuing to secure the country’s fuel needs and to take the necessary measures to ensure the stability and smooth flow of supplies in all states.
