Media Speculation Suggests Possible Resumption of U.S. Strikes on Iran

Dan Scavino, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, posted a video of a B-2 bomber amid growing speculation that the United States may resume military operations against Iran.

Scavino had posted a similar message in February, just one day before the start of the joint U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran.

In a related development, the news outlet Axios reported that President Donald Trump is seriously considering launching new strikes against Iran and held a meeting with senior national security officials to discuss available options.

Meanwhile, CBS News had earlier cited informed sources saying that U.S. officials had begun canceling weekend plans as part of preparations for a possible new wave of attacks against Iran.

On the Iranian side, the Tasnim news agency quoted a military source as saying that Iranian authorities had closed airspace in western Iran to all non-daytime flights until Monday.

Flight tracking data from Flightradar also showed Iranian airspace largely empty, with air traffic in the country appearing suspended in recent hours.

At the same time, U.S. Air Force KC-135R and KC-46A refueling aircraft were reportedly observed departing from Tel Aviv eastward, while their destinations were concealed.

The account known as “Pentagon Pizza Report” also noted a sharp increase in activity at pizza restaurants near the Pentagon, with a Domino’s Pizza branch located 1.4 miles away recording a 227% surge in traffic, while another nearby restaurant, “We The Pizza,” saw a 167% increase.

Separately, President Donald Trump abruptly canceled a planned trip to New Jersey and returned to the White House in Washington, as American media continued reporting that he is considering renewed strikes on Iran.
