Iranian advisor Mohsen Rezaei has revealed that Tehran is abandoning its policy of strategic patience, rejecting what he called Washington’s “showy scenarios regarding the Strait of Hormuz.” He affirmed his country’s determination to obtain all its rights and compensation.
In press statements on Thursday , reported by the Fars News Agency, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, stressed that Tehran will never return to the situation that existed before the 12-day war (last year), stressing that Iran is now abandoning its previously adopted policy of strategic patience.
Rezaei explained that the US administration is attempting, by raising the issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, to stage a show of force as a prelude to withdrawing from the region, but Iran will not allow this plan to succeed or for past mistakes to be repeated.
Rezaei emphasized that the United States must compensate Iran for all the losses it has incurred, asserting that Tehran will undoubtedly obtain its full rights and due compensation without compromise.
Rezaei expressed his firm belief that the United States will move day by day towards inevitable decline and collapse, predicting “the fall of this usurping entity and the return of lasting security and stability to the region.”
