Al-Ahli Wad Madani Delegation Arrives in Nairobi Ahead of Tusker Clash on Saturday

The delegation of Al-Ahli Wad Madani arrived in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Wednesday, ahead of their match against Kenya’s Tusker FC next Saturday, September 12, in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the competition.

Upon arrival, the delegation headed to its accommodation at the Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel.

The delegation was received at Nairobi Airport by the Sudanese Ambassador to Kenya, Deputy Head of the Diplomatic Mission Mohammed Othman Okasha, Military Attaché Major General Magdi Abdel Basit Abdel Qader, and Consul Montaser Saad, who worked to facilitate the delegation’s entry procedures until they left the arrivals hall.

Also present to welcome the delegation were Ahmed Barakat, Chairman of the club’s Board of Directors; Adel Faqad, Vice President for Financial Affairs and head of the delegation; Bakri Al-Qamaz, a board member; and Al-Ahli supporter Al-Fateh Khidr, who had arrived in Nairobi from Kigali ahead of the delegation. They were joined by delegation coordinator Sally, the Secretary-General of Kenya’s Tusker FC, and Al-Maryoud Fadlallah Al-Mawla, representing the Sudanese community.

The reception was attended by a large number of young members of the Sudanese community in Nairobi, who lined up to welcome the delegation, along with journalists Othman Al-Asbat, Mohammed Fadlallah, Hossam Hamed, and Siddig Al-Dukhairi.
