Al-Hilal of Sudan in Libya Preparing for its ACL Match Against “Ahly Benghazi”
Benghazi – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Al-Hilal team delegation arrived at Benghazi airport today (Wednesday) from Tunisia to meet Libyan “Ahly Benghazi” in the first leg of the preliminary qualifiers of the African Champions League, which is scheduled for next Sunday, August 18.
The Sudanese champion held a short camp in Tunisia under the supervision of technical Florent Ibengé, in which he conducted preparatory training with the Tunisian club CS Sfaxien, who lost the first and (1-1) draw in the second.
The “Blue” repeatedly missed accessible opportunities in front of the goal, which prompted the technical staff to try midfielder Salah Adel as the explicit striker in the last two matches.
Tunisian sources indicated that Al-Hilal had agreed with the Tunisian club Benzarti to include its striker, “Tayeb Ben Zitoun,” for US$200,000.
Ben Zitoun, 27, scored ten goals in 18 matches and was crowned the top scorer in the Tunisian League last season. He also scored three goals in the Tunisian Cup.
