The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Disciplinary Committee has rejected a complaint filed by Kenyan Club Police against Al-Hilal of Sudan regarding the match that took place at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi, libya, on October 24, 2025, which Al-Hilal won.
The Al-Hilal General Secretariat received the decision of the CAF reject the complaint filed by Kenyan Police on Thursday, along with a detailed memorandum from the Kenyan Football Federation.
The CAF Disciplinary Committee had notified Al-Hilal of the complaint on November 14 and gave the club until 5:00 PM, November 17, to respond with the required legal arguments and clarifications.
Al-Hilal responded to all points raised in the Disciplinary Committee’s letter, supported by all the regulations concerning player status and transfers in force at the Sudanese Football Association, translated into English.
These regulations confirmed the eligibility and legality of the players’ participation in the complaint, leading CAF Disciplinary Committee to reject the complaint.
