Higher Education:Return of Application, Certification Services to Main Headquarters in Khartoum

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the closure of the General Administration Center for Admissions, Evaluation, and Certification of Certificates at Karari University. All administrative procedures related to online applications and certificate authentication will be returned to the main headquarters of the General Administration for Admissions on Al-Jumhuriya Street, effective Sunday.
In a press release, the Ministry stated that this move is part of the government’s policy to restore public service institutions to their normal locations and is part of the government’s efforts to rebuild trust and normalize the situation in Khartoum State. This will allow citizens to access essential services in a more organized and efficient official environment.
The Ministry emphasized that returning operations to the main location is a practical step to support the government’s strategy for restoring normalcy and improving the operational efficiency of public facilities, in line with recovery and service plans.
In the same context, Hanan Mohammed Zein, Director of the General Administration for Admissions, Evaluation, and Certification, stated that the resumption of operations at the Republic Street buildings represents a significant step towards restoring normalcy. The site has been prepared and a suitable environment secured to receive students, their families, and all service seekers, streamlining procedures for more efficiency and flexibility.
Hanan added, “We are working in accordance with the directives of the Ministry and State’s senior management to ensure an efficient and seamless service environment. We are confident that this step will make a tangible difference for students and their parents.”
She urged all clients to visit the main headquarters starting Sunday, emphasizing that the teams are ready to receive students and their families and provide the necessary technical and procedural support without delay.
