CBS Governor: Preparation of a Comprehensive Plan for the Bank Priorities

The Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBS), Amna Mirghani, has directed that a comprehensive strategic plan for the bank be developed immediately.

She said such a plan would serve in the restoration of life to the Sudanese state and ensures strengthening the central bank’s role in achieving financial and monetary stability in the country, stressing that this would remain a priority for the current stage.

In her first meeting with the directors of the bank’s general departments and branches (Wednesday), since she was appointed to the post, the Governor reviewed the bank’s performance, work plans, and executive programs for the next phase.

Mrs Mirghani emphasized the need to advance the banking sector and keep pace with global developments in the field of electronic banking services to provide the best services to citizens.
