Army Announces Liberation of “Khor Hassan” in Blue Nile State

The command of the Fourth Infantry Division in Damazin announced on Friday that its forces, together with allied units, had liberated the Khor Hassan area following what it described as heroic battles against the Rapid Support Forces militia and the forces of rebel leader Joseph Tuka.

According to the division’s media office, the forces inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment on the rebels, while the remaining fighters fled under the strikes and advances of the Sudanese Armed Forces.

The Fourth Infantry Division command affirmed that military operations will continue until all areas under its responsibility are fully secured, the rebellion is defeated, the borders are protected, and security and stability are restored.
