Government Condemns RSF Militia Attack On Vital Power Facilities

The Ministry of Energy has confirmed that it had begun repairing the strategic service sites targeted by the Rapid Support Militia on Tuesday), with the aim of providing essential services to the citizens of Khartoum State.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry condemned the terrorist operations carried out by the Rapid Support Militia against vital Ministry of Energy facilities.
It explained that the militia targeted the Markhiyat Power Station and the Khartoum Refinery yesterday morning with several drones. The bombing cented on the control center, meters, LPG tanks, and fuel lines connecting the Garri 3 Power Station.
The statement noted that the terrorist militia primarily targets Sudanese citizens by disrupting the most important services, namely electricity and fuel.
It noted that the militias targeted the Heglig oil field and airport last week in the same manner, resulting in the deaths of five civilians.
