Darfur Civilians in the UK Protest Outside UAE Embassy

London – Sudanhorizon
Two groups of Darfur people in the UK began gathering in London today (Saturday) to participate in a protest they are organising against the massacres that have taken place in a number of Sudanese towns and villages, most notably the town of El Fashir and the Zamzam IDP camps by the UAE-backed rebel Rapid Support Forces militia.
The Sudanhorizon website received videos of the gathering starting to move towards London from a number of British cities such as Leicester, Manchester and others in preparation for participating in the “major demonstration organized by the Darfur Association in Britain and the Sudanese community in front of the UAE embassy in condemnation of the recent crimes committed in Zamzam camp in Al-Fashir and the Al-Gitaina area in White Nile State, by the Rapid Support Militia.”
The demonstrators raised banners reading, “We are all Zamzam… One army, one people… No to ethnic cleansing… No to genocide.”
