Cabinet Approves the Outline and Objectives of the 2025 Budget Draft

On Thursday, the Sudanese Council of Ministers approved the draft state budget’s features, objectives, and directives for the fiscal year 2025. The session was chaired by Acting Prime Minister Osman Hussein, with Finance and Economic Planning Minister Dr Jibril Ibrahim Mohamed presenting the budget proposal. Council members made several observations and commended the Ministry of Finance’s efforts to prepare realistic budget guidelines that address current needs. Minister Ibrahim pledged to incorporate the council’s feedback into the budget framework, which is expected to be presented at a joint meeting of the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers.
